Amy Lynn Simon

Amy Simon, 48, passed away at her home in Fort Worth, Texas on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

Amy was born November 30, 1975 in SHAPE, Belgium to James and Marsha Simon. At that time her father served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Europe, but in 1977 the family settled in North Texas near her mother’s family.

Amy was known for her down to earth personality and was widely loved by friends and co-workers. She was an avid softball player as a youth and graduated Richland High School in 1994. Amy had a loving heart for animals and adored her pets. Most of all, she loved family and never missed an opportunity to get together with her family on any occasion. Amy was affectionately known as Aunt “Sissy” by her nieces and nephew. She will never be forgotten.

Amy is survived by her parents, sister Lisa Reynolds, brother Brian Simon, nieces Emily Reynolds, Megan Reynolds, and Madison Simon, nephew Matthew Simon, uncle Michael Mathews, aunt Marsha Mathews, cousins Justin Mathews, Jennifer Lucas, and Erica Carter, her dog Oliver, and numerous loving extended family and friends.

Memorial: A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at the Lucas Funeral Home in Keller at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023.
