Barrett Kane Wooldridge

Barrett Kane Wooldridge, age 21 of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on January 31st, 2024 in a tragic traffic accident.

Barrett Wooldridge was born on February 6th, 2002 in Carrollton, Texas to adoring parents Jessica (Elliott) and Lucas Wooldridge. Barrett grew up in Lewisville, Texas with his siblings, Landon and Tatum, graduating from Marcus High School in 2020. Barrett continued his education at Universal Technical Institute in Irving and graduated in 2023. Barrett was proudly serving his country as a specialist with the Army Reserves 957th Quartermaster Company at the time of his passing.

Barrett enjoyed being active. He was a competitive gymnast for 5 years at Texas Dreams Gymnastics. After graduating high school, he decided to take a different path but continued to work towards challenging himself physically in the gym and working on his fitness goals. Barrett loved the open road and getting on his motorcycle was the highlight of his day. Barrett’s most treasured memories were the times he spent connecting with family and friends.

Barrett is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Tommy Joe Elliott and Dickie Frank Wooldridge; his great grandfathers William Miles, David Elliott, James Buelman Sr., and Dalton Wooldridge; and his great grandmothers, Victoria Miles, Marguritte Elliott, Jeannette Cussio, and Joyce Thomas.

Barrett is survived by his loving parents, Jessica and Lucas Wooldridge; his brother, Landon Wooldridge; his sister, Tatum Wooldridge; his grandmothers, Chris Elliott and Carole Wooldridge; his uncles, Sam, Hunter, Kyle, Kris, Daniel, Todd Barbian and Todd Wiley; his aunts, Aimee, Jess, Monica, Kalie, and Heather; his cousins, Aidan and Austin Wooldridge, Brooklyn, Kyndal and Karter Wooldridge, Callum and Cade Barbian, Sydnee and Adi Abrams, Cohen Buelman; many great aunts and uncles with their families; and numerous friends and other people whose lives Barrett touched.

The family invites all who knew Barrett to join them Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 at 2 o’clock p.m. at Trietsch Church, located at 6101 Morriss Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028. A reception and time of fellowship will follow the chapel service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Barrett’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
