Dawn Swanzy Martin

Dawn Patrice Martin was born on July 17th to Patricia and Wayne Swanzy in Port Arthur, TX. On the afternoon of October 25th, 2023, Heaven called for another Angel.  Dawn (Swanzy) Martin, age 62, was called home to be with her parents Wayne and Patti Swanzy who proceeded her in death.

Dawn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.  Dawn was a warm hearted, caring person who embraced everyone she met as her own and would give anything she possessed to make another smile.

On June 5th , 1991, Dawn married Bob Martin and blended their 3 children into a family. Dawn was called away on a rainy and stormy afternoon, but her favorite color was yellow, so when you see the sun and feel its warmth just know its Dawn smiling down on the ones she loved.

Dawn was proceeded in death by her parents’ father, Forrest Wayne Swanzy and mother, Patricia Ann Swanzy.

She is survived by her Husband Bob Martin, Daughter Stephanie Pucciarello and husband Mike, Son Dallas Chase and wife Becky, Son Joshua Martin, and wife Ashley. Brother Dennis and wife Lita, Sister Denise and husband Victor, Brother Dean, and wife Lisa. Grandchildren Makenzie, Riann, Grace, Brynlee, Sean, Taylor, Jordan, and Jackson. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends that love her deeply.

Celebration of Life will be held at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, TX on Thursday, November 2nd , 2023 Visitation 9:00 A.M with service to immediately follow, at 10:00 A.M.
