Dennis Ray Allen

Dennis Ray Allen went to meet his maker on April 22,2016. Dennis was 69 years old, born in Cherokee Oklahoma on February 28, 1947 to Gomerray Allen, and Ellen Fae Talley Allen. He passed at 11:30Pm at Baylor Grapevine Hospital, Grapevines Texas.
Dennis graduated from Cloudcroft High School in 1965, and was the photographer for the school annual. He joined the Navy in 1965. He was discharged on July8,1971. He worked for the Texas Ranger Ball Club as Field Maintenance Mechanic.
Survived by his wife Violet Allen. Daughter-Thresa Bundell. Step daughters- Sherrie Owmbey, and Carrie Blake. Step son- Dwayne Wallace. Eight Grandchildren, and Four Great Grandchildren. Mother- Ellen Fae Allen Kunzman, Sisters-Barbara Karnes, and Daphne Winberger. Brothers- Jerry Allen, Darrell Allen, and Wendell Allen. He had many nieces, and nephews.
Proceeded in death: Father- Gomerray Allen, and grandson Daniel Bundell.
Visitation will be held 9:00AM, Thursday April 28,2016 Service will be at 10:00AM at Lucas Funeral Home & Chapel, located 305 W. 1St Street Justin, Texas 76247
