Donn J. King

Donn J King, 74, of Bedford, Texas, passed away on January 31, 2024. He was born on December 18, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio, to Floyd E. King and Helen C. King. Donn is survived by his loving daughter Stephanie (Boone) Campbell, his cherished grandchildren Calder and Davee Campbell, brother Pete (Camille) King of Orient, Ohio, brother Jeff (Christina) King of Dublin, Ohio, nephew Jason (Avery) King, nephew Jared (Maggie) King and numerous great nieces and nephews. His father, Floyd, his mother, Helen, and his brother, Gary King, preceded him in death.

Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, Donn attended St. Mary's Catholic School in the German Village. After graduating in 1967, he embarked on a successful career in the telecommunications field. Donn spent most of his professional life working for IBM-Rolm Corporation and Siemens Communications in the Fort Worth area.

A memorial service to celebrate Donn's life will be held on February 16, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Home located at 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask that contributions be made to the Humane Society of Young County at 120 Craig Street, Graham, TX 76450.
