Dorothy Jean Blackstock

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Jean Blackstock, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and beloved member of the community. Dorothy peacefully departed from this world on June 1, 2024, at the age of 74.

Dorothy Jean Blackstock was born on August 19, 1949, in Longview, TX, to her parents Georgia Rea Roseberry and William McCray. In her lifetime, she touched the hearts of many and will be remembered for her compassionate spirit and unwavering love for her family.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Rea Winston, her fathers M T Bell & William McCray, and her brothers Eugene Roseberry, Spencer Bell, Larry Bell, Quinion Bell.

She is survived by her husband, Arbin Wayne Blackstock, and her three daughters - Cynthia Guy, Shirley Diaz, and Johnnie Bell. Dorothy also leaves behind a legacy through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Carolyn Bell, Rickey Lynn Bell, William Bell, Lorenzo Guy Gabriel Guy, Prescious Perry, Shanda Chinn, Laron Perry, Marquis Purvis, Constance Knox, Faith Knox, Kristen Linch, Brianna Guyand, and a host of great and great great grandkids, sisters, brothers and nieces and nephews, who will cherish her memory for years to come.
