Elvis Mcneely

May 23, 1975 — October 30, 2023

Elvis McNeely, 48, of Keller, TX, passed away on October 30, 2023 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, TX.

He is survived by wife Cathy, daughter Stela, father Russell, mother Tina and stepfather Matt, sisters Misty, Jessica, and Rachel.

Elvis was born in Evansville, IN, where he graduated from high school and went on to pursue his academic dream at USI and Purdue University. Right before going to college, he gave his life to Christ and embarked on a trip to Brazil to build a missionary’s house in a village near the Amazon river. He loved the Brazilian people and made many friends. Five years later, when visiting some of these friends, he met Cathy, whom he married. Their family lived in West Lafayette, IN until 2011, then moved to Keller, TX, where Elvis was able to expand his professional career in technology, which was one of his passions.

Elvis loved connecting with people and learning about their interests. He was a great listener and mentor, helped many colleagues in their careers, and was happy when they succeeded.

Devoted to his family and friends, Elvis loved them without reservations. He was also a man of deep faith and convictions and endeavored to show the love of Christ to everyone he met. He will be missed and loved forever.

Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Gateway Church - Room C, 700 Blessed Way, Southlake, Texas 76092.
