Guy Conrad Sharpe born March 28, 1934, lost his battle with Alzheimer’s and went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 5, 2016. Graveside service will be Saturday June 11, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Medlin Cemetery in Trophy Club, Texas.
He worked for Presley Meat Company for several years before beginning his career with Met Life, retiring after 40 years as salesman and Regional Manager.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Connie Foshee’ and survived by his wife Eunice of 64 years, 3 children Vickie Daniels, Guy Sharpe II and Julie Richardson, Brother Bill Presley, Grandchildren Jason Daniels, Christy Muckensturm, Lindsey Daniels, Brittany Saldivar, Max Richardson, and Great-Grandchildren, Tyan and Everlee Muckensturm.
Rejoice with us that he is no longer suffering and for the first time, in a long time, he can remember.
He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Pepa and Friend. We will miss his stories, his jokes, his hugs, his advice, his encouraging words in difficult times, and most of all, the person he was before this disease robbed him of so much. But we are thankful for the time we had to prepare ourselves “for such a time as this.” Missing him verses knowing he is healed and home, there is no comparison, only bittersweet JOY.
We take encouragement in the words of this song:
But just to think…of stepping on shore and finding it Heaven. Of touching a hand….and finding it
God’s…Of breathing in new air…and finding it Celestial…of waking up in Glory…and finding it HOME.
He is finally home.
