Jack Edward Chasteen Sr

Jack Edward Chasteen, Sr., 87, passed away November 8, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones.
Service: 2pm Saturday, Nov. 12 at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, Grapevine. Visitation: 12:30p-2p prior to the service.
He was born March 4, 1929 in Ft Smith AR. He moved to Grapevine TX in 2nd grade and could tell you anything you wanted to know about Grapevine.
He lived an adventurous full life with his sweetheart, Laura Fay. He had 2 children, Jack Chasteen Jr and Sheryl Brown in which he was always there for. Jack could never be still. He loved to be outdoors, traveling with friends and even worked out of the country many years making more life long friends. He loved to help others. Jack was accomplished in his natural passion and skill in cabinet making and creating fine woodwork and opening his own business in 1956 that is still running today.
Jack, “Grandaddy” has 5 wonderful grandchildren and 6 beautiful great grandchildren that he loved to nickname and tell all his stories too.
He will be so greatly missed and his stories passed on with love and gratitude.
