Linda Kay (Carter) Kinney, 83, of Bedford, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020, at the Elmcroft Assisted Living from natural causes.
She was born on July 19, 1937 in Childress, Texas to the late Helen and Erwin Carter. Linda married Glen Kinney on August 8, 1959, in Childress, Texas. She obtained her BA from the University of Texas at Austin as an Alpha Chi Omega sorority member. Linda had various jobs in her lifetime as a school teacher, Realtor Broker, and homemaker. She lived in Decatur, Georgia and Bedford, Colleyville, and Houston, Texas. She loved to play bridge and dominoes and was a member of First Baptist Church in Euless, Texas. She was a great wife, caring mother, and friend to all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her husband, Glen Kinney; daughter, Kay Price and husband Eddie; sons, Chuck Kinney and wife Cynthia, and Andrew Kinney and wife Jennifer; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 31, 2020, at Cross City Church, 1000 Airport Freeway, Euless, Texas. Graveside service will at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Childress Cemetery in Childress, Texas.
