Linda Sue Mccann

September 10, 1947 — December 8, 2020

Linda Sue Starnes McCann was born on September 10, 1947, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and went home to Jesus on December 8, 2020. She was so very kind and loving, and known for her quick wit. She was always ready with a snappy comeback. Always a lover of music, among her favorites were Neil Diamond, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, The Beatles, Brooks and Dunn, Third Day, Michael W. Smith, and many, many more. Linda was an avid collector of cookbooks. She was fond of COLLECTING them, not using them. Her favorite color was any shade of yellow and she loved butterflies. Known to many as a professional sleeper, she always needed "just five more minutes". Linda is survived by son’s Tod Almighty and David McCann, and daughter Deaun Talbott. Husband of 31 years, Frank McCann. Grandkids Matthew Ivey, Caleb Ivey and wife Maddie, Emily Talbott, Katie Talbott, Kristi Marks and husband Ken, Tiffany McCann, Celia Smith and husband Kenneth, Terry McCann and wife Allison, Justin McCann, Lindsay Vaquera and husband Rowdy, Chandler McCann, and Courtney McCann. Great grandkids Jameson Ivey, Millie Ivey, Brennan Marks, Kelson Marks, Raya Columbus, Colin Smith, Korbin Smith, Rylee McCann, Chase McCann, Trenton McCann, Aubrey Vaquera, and Reed Vaquera. Brother Rex Starnes and wife Natasha. Sister Sherry Corn and husband Jessie. Uncle Jack Duncan and wife Lil. Aunt Wanda Montgomery. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving parents J. A. and Emily Starnes, sisters Judy Perenich and Kay McDowell, and son’s Terry McCann and Tony McCann. Linda will be buried near her parents in Ada, OK.
Linda always enjoyed helping her friends at Arden Place, during the Christmas season, by gathering items to give to them. To honor her tradition the family is asking for you to bring an item (socks, blankets, baby dolls, etc.) There will be a box for collected items at the funeral home.
