Ray Denoy Riddles

Ray Denoy Riddles, 86, was called to his Heavenly home on January 22, 2023, in Bedford, Texas.

He was born on September 24, 1936, in Fife, Texas to Willie Ray Riddles and Arlie Norris Riddles. He graduated from Brady High School in 1956. Ray enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he qualified for sniper school while serving. He married Jacqueline “Jaki” Frazier of Irving, Texas and they were married for 61 years. Ray was with the Dallas Fire Department and retired after 27 years of dedicated service. He also had a successful business, R & R Trading Co., which dealt in hides and furs.

Ray was a truly selfless and loving brother, husband, father, and “Papaw”. He is survived by his wife, Jaki; daughter, Rayna Rabbitt (husband Steve), and son, Lance Riddles. His grandchildren whom he dearly loved; Halee and Hunter Riddles, Brady and Rachel Rabbitt. Also surviving, brothers Dorman Riddles (wife Verna), Norris Riddles, David Cooney; and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by sisters Eva Jean Underwood, Thelma Louise Underwood, Willie Gail Riddles Rotzell, and brother John Cooney.
