Richard O. Kingston "ROK," 85, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at a local care facility.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Burial will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home.
Memorials: Should friends desire to donate, please give to the "Better Together Fund" at North Richland Hills Baptist Church.
Richard, a Fort Worth native, was born Jan. 7, 1930. He was the only child of Charles and Pauline Kingston. Richard was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Bell Helicopter after 40 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Irene; and daughter, Cindy.
Survivors: Wife, Helen; son, Michael and wife, Sandy, and their daughter, Carly and husband, Jared, and their son, Colton; beloved stepdaughter, Carol and husband, Steve, her daughter, Carrie, and husband, Michael, and her son, Cameron; stepson, Khris and his son, Kylan, and daughter, Traci.
