Rogelio R. "Roy" Rios

Rogelio R. “Roy” Rios, 75, of Hurst, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 at a local hospital.
Roy was born February 12, 1948 in Mexico to Asencion and Mauricio Rios. Roy graduated from Christoval High School in Christoval, Texas. He married Norma Phillips October 11, 1980 in Kentucky. Roy was a longtime resident in Kentucky where he owned and operated Rios Excavating in Manchester Kentucky.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife of more then 40 years and son, Kenneth Phillips.
Those left to cherish Roy’s memory: Sons, Arnulfo Rios, Carlos Rios and his wife Whitney, Randall Phillips and his wife Linda; grandchildren, Kayla and her husband, Kyle, Aerial and her husband, Jenson, Paige, Hannah, Jeffrey, Jeniva and her husband Andrew; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Wyatt, Marceline, Teagan, Damon, Maxine, Enzo, and Ezra; brothers, Armando Rios and his wife, Karen and Jerry Rios; sisters, Rosa “Rosie” Rios and Hope Cardona and her husband, David; and his loving dog, Pinta.
