Roy Weldon Luttrell passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 10,2017.

Roy was born October 12, 1930, in Roanoke Texas, third youngest of 11 children to parents William Franklin Luttrell and Martha Clifton. He spent his childhood in Roanoke.
He married Ora Lea Ethridge of Keller Texas on March 4, 1950 and moved their family to Hurst in 1958, eventually raising four children there. Roy worked at the GM Arlington assembly plant for 38 years in the paint department and quality control until retirement in 1990. Roy enjoyed for many years restoring vintage cars and repairing vehicles in his spare time. Roy was known for a quick wit and ready smile. His deep love of family was ever present, always freely giving his love and support. He will be missed so very much by all.
His wife of 61 years, Ora Lea passed away in March, 2011.
Survivors: Son Roy W. Luttrell, Jr. and wife Lori, Daughters, Melody Faircloth, Sherrie Baggett and husband Kenneth, Dixie Bridges and husband Charles, Nine grandchildren; Six great-grandchildren; Sister, Dorothy Herbert, New Iberia, LA.
