Terry Lee O'Neal

Terry Lee O’Neal, of Keller, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on Friday, December 30, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Raymond Lee O’Neal and Sylvia Wanita Baily. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and colleague to all that knew and loved him.

During his formative years his sister Peg and brother Larry taught by example what it took to take care of those you love, sacrifice for their growth, and instill deep family values. Later in life he found a wife who shared those same ideals and goals. Together they used that as a foundation to build their life and family together. They were able to pass on those same values to their children and helped pass it to their grandchildren as well.

After Terry graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High, he studied at Indiana University. By the time he graduated with his bachelors and MBA he had married his loving and cherished wife Debra.
Terry and Debra’s first date was at a concert performed by Christian artist Don Fransico. They were married on November 2, 1978 in Indianapolis. Family was everything to him. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren more than life itself.

Before moving to Texas they made three additions to their family: Tara, Adam, and Zachary. Over the years they grew their family even more by nurturing and mentoring anyone that needed it. This forged a lasting bond across relatives and friends alike so that everyone they helped became part of the family.
Terry is survived by his wife Debra O’Neal, his children Tara Beth Perez (Frankie), Adam Ross O’Neal, Zachary Brice O’Neal (Brianna); grandchildren Colt, Harper, Brynlee, Brice, Levi, and Cruz; cherished niece Mariah Horsley, sister-in-law Melissa Horsley; Siblings Peg Fox (Bill), Larry O’Neal (Caroline), Linda Negley (Jay), Garry O’Neal (Charlotte), Pat Webster (Bob), Molly Aloiz (Rich), Andy O’Neal, Cindy O’Neal, Judie Boyce (Chuck), Kerry O’Neal, Laura Montgomery (Robert), sister-in-laws Vicki Clayborn, Kathy Reier, and brother-in-law Dean Ellerman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Sylvia O’Neal; brother, Barry and Randy O’Neal; sister, Carolyn O’Neal; brother-in-law Bob Webster; granddaughter, Anna Grace Perez.
Terry and Debra entered their marriage covenant with God 45 years ago through sickness and health, the hard times and good times. God is good!
Finally, we wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us and Terry in our recent time of need.
