GRANBURY -- Thomas Edward Williams, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2016.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment: will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: Noon prior to the service.
Thomas was born December 16, 1931, in Rogers, to the late Silas and Ida Williams. On November 19, 1955, he married Nanette Thomas. They moved to Haltom City in 1960, where they raised their 3 sons. They owned and operated three Tommy's Food Markets in the Haltom City area over several years. Thomas was an avid golfer, a member of Glen Garden and Diamond Oaks County Clubs, and above all he loved his family who will miss him dearly.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; three sisters; son, Johnny Williams; and grandson, Clayton Williams.
Survivors: Loving wife of 60 years, Nanette Williams; sons, Douglas Williams and wife Debra and Tommy Williams and wife Kim; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother, Harold Dean Williams and wife Ouida.
