VARUGHESE K MATHEW (Kunjukutty)

Mr. Varughese K Mathew was born on June 26th, 1940 in Ayroor, Kerala to the late K G Mathew and Mariamma Mathew. He married Sosamma Mathew (Ammini), Kizhakkethil House, Naranganam, Kerala, on February 15th, 1968 and was blessed with a son and a daughter.
He was one of the founding members and also the board member of the church, Bethany Full Gospel Assembly, Irving, TX. He had a great passion to reach out to the local community through evangelism by distributing books & tracts and sharing the gospel of Christ to others. His life of prayer and intercession, hospitality, generosity and a caring heart for the people of God and others will be cherished.
He worked for Cooper Engineering Corp, Pune from 1962 to 1981 before he migrated to the United States in 1982. He also worked for Alite Vertical Products, New York from 1984 to 2003. He will be remembered as a man who had a true passion for God, his wife and children. He also had a gentle personality, humble in nature and a source of comfort to anyone that needed his help or guidance.
Mr. Varughese K Mathew is survived by his wife Ammini, his son Eby, daughter-in-law Leena, daughter Jolly, and son-in-law Stanley. One of the greatest blessings in his life were his grandchildren: Stacy, Stephie, Joanne, Julia, Steena, Sophia, Janice and Joshua. He is also survived by his brother Babykutty and family, sisters Kunjmole and family, Gracykutty and family and his sister-in-law Rosamma and family. He passed away peacefully on May 7th, surrounded by his family and friends that he adored. He lived a Godly life. We will miss his sweet smile and his loving heart. We are comforted in knowing that we will see him again on that beautiful shore.
