Graveside Service: A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Bourland Cemetery in Keller, Texas.
Burks was born on February 10, 1930 in Levelland, Texas to Christine and William Burks. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force shortly after World War II. Burks moved his family from Farmington, New Mexico to Keller, Texas in 1975. He was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Keller. Burks retired after a long career working for Halliburton. He will be dearly missed.
Burks is preceded in passing by his darling wife of nearly 60 years, Frances Burks; and his parents.
He is survived by many loving family members and friends.
