Adam Charles Woerner, age 36, passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, November 20th 2018.
Adam was born November 20th 1981 in Akron, OH to Daniel and Diane Woerner. He attended Kent State University where he earned a dual Bachelors in Mathematics and Computer Science and his Masters in Mathematics. He moved to Fort Worth in 2010 and was a software engineer at Lockheed Martin. He met his wife Rachael in 2014, and together they were raising a beautiful family of five.
Adam was first and foremost a family man. He reveled in being a father and loved spending time with his children. He practiced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and it was through this that he and Rachael were introduced. He had an enigmatic sense of humor, quick wit, and an encyclopedic knowledge of random facts. He loved music and enjoyed attending live concerts whenever possible. He will be remembered by everyone who knew him as a kind hearted man who loved with everything he had and put his relationships with family and friends in the forefront of his life. Though Adam loved many television shows and movies, he was always partial to the work of Monty Python. It’s the words of comedian and Monty Python alum, Eric Idle that Adam would want those who knew and loved him to remember,
Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...
Adam was preceded in death by his father Daniel, cousin Jacquelyn Duffy, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Adam is survived by his wife Rachael, children Jackson Charles, Gemma Grace, and Danielle Rae. Mother Diane Woerner, sister Sunnie Woerner, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, loving friends, and co-workers.
