Ala Pluma Biggs, 88, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in a Fort Worth care center.
Memorial Mass, 1pm Saturday, November 9, St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7431 Glenview Drive, North Richland Hills.
Ala, the daughter of John Thomas and Stella Borden Griffin, was born January 9, 1925 in Snyder, Texas. She was a former resident of Dallas, Hamilton, and Paradise. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Bridgeport. Ala retired from Rockwell Industries after over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, 10 siblings, son, Edward Bart and grandson, James Edward Bent.
Survivors: daughters, Stella Hlad and husband, Richard, Patricia Bent; grandchildren, James Ramsey, Jr, Scott Ramsey, Rebecca Sheffield; great-grandchildren, Lauren Reed, Garret Ramsey, Jaycee Sheffield, Braden Sheffield; great-great-grandchild, Ryder Reed; sister, Edna Hayworth.
