GRANBURY -- Albert "Bud" Brothers, 85, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, July 21, 2012.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Lucas Funeral Chapel, 517 N. Sylvania. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Bud was born Aug. 1, 1926, in Fort Worth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Haltom City-Riverside Masonic Lodge #1331. Bud worked in the orthopedic brace business and owned Bud's Brace Company in Fort Worth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Allie Brothers; six brothers; four sisters; daughter, Cleta Penisten DuValle; and granddaughter, Jamie Penisten.
Survivors: His loving wife of 40 years, Nadine Penisten Brothers; children, Jim Brothers and wife, Kari, of Laguna Park, Debbie Brothers Laughlin and husband, Jay, of Andrews, Melissa Brothers Bemis of Houston, James Penisten and wife, Jan, of Cresson, and Debbie Penisten Riza of Granbury; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister, Alberta Brothers Donaldson of Granbury.
