Albert D. Norrid age 75 of Burleson, Texas went to be with the Lord, Friday December 31, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born July 21, 1946 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to Leon C. and Elizabeth (Hill) Norrid. Along with being a loving husband and devoted father, Albert was an avid outdoorsmen. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything that required getting your hands dirty outside. He also enjoyed coaching his two children and grand-daughters’ sports, listening to 50’s and classic country music, restoring his beloved ‘87 Chevy Silverado truck dotingly named “Ol’ Blue”; and in his earlier years he was fond of building hot rods. Albert was an exceptionally talented carpenter, who was known by all for his ability to perfect and build anything he put his mind to, always with a hot thermos of coffee close by his side. But above all, the shining light in his life was his family, whom he loved deeply, especially the love of his life, his Hunny, Linda.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Check, Monroe and Charlie Norrid; and brother-in-law, Wallace D. Sparks.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 56 years, Linda Norrid; son, Allen Norrid; daughters, Kim Norrid (partner, Melissa Stegall) and granddaughter, Hollyanne Norrid (partner, Sasha Sergiyenko); grandson, Josh Brock; great-grandchildren, Aidan Brock and Morrison Sergiyenko; and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
