RICHLAND HILLS -- Alexander "Alec" Duran, 33, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015
Funeral: 10 am Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Visitation: 10am-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
Alex was the oldest of three sons. He was the owner of cakes to die for and was an event planner in Richland Hills Texas. He attended the Arts Institute in Dallas. Alex was a very talented, dedicated, and hard driven young man and was loved by everyone.
Survivors: Parents, Ralph and Rosalind Duran; brothers, Reuben and Matthew Duran; grandmother, Vivian Duran; aunts, Kathy Esquibel, Beatrice Naranjo, Yolanda Moreno, Janie Flores, Rose Petty, Bonnie Cardenas of Fort Worth, and Amelia Anguiano of Dallas; uncles, Rudy Duran of San Antonio, Tom Duran of Glendale, California, Reynaldo Cardenas of Fort Worth, and Ramiro Cardenas of Texarkana, Arkansas; and a host of extended family members from South and West Texas.
