Alexander "Alex" Antonio Borras

Alexander “Alex” Antonio Borras was born September 16, 2002 in Bedford, Texas. He passed away on December 10, 2024 at the age of 22 years old.

Alex grew up in the HEB area where he surrounded himself with family and friends. Nothing mattered more to Alex then being around the people that he loved the most. Alex was extremely charismatic, funny, and charming. He would hug on you when you needed love, and witty when you needed a laugh. Alex graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 2021 and went on to attend RPA College for one semester where he played collegiate football. Alex was full of life and love for so many. Alex will be missed dearly, but he is now standing at the right hand of the creator and is smiling down on everyone from heaven. 

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Marvin “Bunky” Mitchell.

He is survived by mother, Dusti Jean Mitchell; father, Jose Borras; sister, Alexcia Borras and husband, Kent Spraglin; brother, Anthony Perez; brother Jovanni Borras; and brother, Charles Palmer; nieces and nephews, Zyaire Spraglin, Zamora Spraglin, Zamir Spraglin; Maternal grandparents, Debbi Wendt and husband Chuck; and Cindy Mitchell; Paternal grandparents, Tony Borras and wife Ellie and Maria Santiago; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. 

A service to celebrate Alex's life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst located at 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas 76053.
