Alfonso "Fonzi" Morante Iii

Alfonso “Fonzi” Morante, III, 35, of Fort Worth, TX passed away September 12, 2021, in Gainesville, Texas.
Born on December 8, 1985, in Alice, Texas, he was the son of Alfonso Morante, Jr. and Diana Ybanez.
Fonzi attended Birdville High School. He worked as a co-store manager for Racetrac for 10 years. Famously known for his joyous laugh and loving bear hugs, his main passion was spending time laughing and joking with friends and family, especially all of his cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mother, Diana Ybanez and her partner Derrik Wayans; father, Alfonso Morante Jr.; grandparents, Leo and Shirlene Ybanez, Ofelia and Alfonso Morante; sister Yvette Hogeda, brother-in-law James Hogeda; niece, Lexia Hogeda; nephews, Ricky and Marcus Hogeda; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family has requested for everyone in attendance to wear a mask. Please stay home if you're even a bit under the weather.
