Alice Ruth Glidewell

Alice Ruth Glidewell, 92, of Keller, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2020.
She was born on August 6, 1928 in Foss, Oklahoma, to Opal and Pete Schones. She was an excellent cook, and her smashed potatoes were a big hit with all her grandchildren, as were sleepovers and trips to Oklahoma with Mee-maw. Alice spent much of her life as an entrepreneur and small business owner, and worked for Texas Instruments and Sky Chef where she made many friends.
Alice is survived by her sons Jerry (wife Linda) of Fort Worth, Texas and Joe (wife Margaret) of Keller, Texas, her grandchildren Keith, Tammy, Kim, Chris and their spouses, 13 great-grandchildren, sister Pauline, sister-in-law Judy, and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice is preceded in death by her husband Bennie, grandsons Kelly and Josh, mother Opal, father Pete, stepfather Willie, brothers Donnie and James, and sister Carrie.
Alice’s sense of humor, boundless generosity, delicious home cooked meals, and endless love for her family will be forever missed.
