Alice Ledezma, 77, passed away October 28, 2021 at John Peter Smith in Fort Worth, Texas. A Rosary will be held at 9:00 am followed by a 10:00am Mass on November 13, 2021 at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, 406 S Bridge Street in Brady, with Father Terry Brenen officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady.
Alice was born September 23, 1944 in Brady, Texas to Juanita Gloria and Lazaro Ledezma, Sr. She grew up in Brady and graduated from Brady High School 1965. She worked at Evergreen Life Services as a Supervisor for Clients with Disabilities for 35 years before retiring in 2013. Alice married Rubin Valdez Sedillo, Sr. in 1966 in Brady, Texas, and they were happily married for 23 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita G. and Lazaro Ledezma, Sr.; sister, Tina Contreras; daughter, Rosalinda Sedillo; and grandson, Dylan Tyler McGaughy.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Patricia Stevens and husband, Jesse Lee; son, Rubin Valdez Sedillo, Jr.; sisters, Emma Bosquez and husband, Marion Sr., Maria Cortez and husband, Antonio Sr., Sara Gallagher, Lucia Ledezma, Gloria Chavez and husband, Hugo, Dolores Vasquez and husband, Enrique; brothers, Ysable Ledezma, Sr. and wife, Annie, and Lazaro (Blackie) Ledezma, Jr.; granddaughter, Cynthia Sedillo Maestas and husband, Dominic; great-grandchildren, Lianna Lamb, Israel Maestas, and Noah Maestas ; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
