Alice Elaine Williams stepped out of her body at her home on Sept. 23, 2023, and now rejoices in the overwhelming joy of Heaven.
Alice was born Dec. 12, 1952, in Dallas, TX, to Clarence and Eunice Talley. She grew up in the heart of Downtown at First Baptist Church Dallas and graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1971. She had four brothers, Dick, John, her twin Clarence, Jr. (Bubba) and Paul Talley.
Alice studied homemaking at The University of Texas at Austin, where she met and fell in love with her lifelong partner, Theril Williams, Jr. They married on St. Patrick’s Day in 1973 and were blessed with three children, Tex, Kristen (Mangus) and Natalie (Wei). They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March with a trip to New York City.
Alice and Theril attended Bedford Methodist Church and Gateway Church, and she led Aleph Tav Torah reading group. She retired from American Airlines after 31 years and worked side-by-side with Theril at their businesses Floor Partners in Design and Floors to Go as CFO.
Alice loved to sew, bike, play games and travel with family and friends, and she was known for her acts of love. Her love language was hosting and entertaining, and all who knew her considered her to be a cook and baker extraordinaire.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Eunice Talley, and her brother Paul.
Alice is survived by her husband Theril; son Tex Williams; daughter Kristen (John) Mangus; daughter Natalie (Ping) Wei; grandchildren Morgan, Megan and Logan Mangus; Hannah, Reyna and Lilly Wei; and brothers Dick, John and Clarence, Jr.
