Alton Ray Smith

Alton Ray Smith was born on October 21, 1927 in Whitewright, Texas and passed away on April 19, 2019 in Grapevine, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva “Sue” Smith. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon Campbell, Jackie Rodgers and husband, Shorty, and Susan Bounds; son, Marc Garber; grandchildren, David Haas and wife, Holly, Richard Lain and wife, Collette, Michelle Gilley, Blake Rodgers and husband, Larry, and Cason Rodgers and wife Katie; 8 great grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, April 29, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home followed by committal service with military honors at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with Rev. Paul Davis officiating.
