Amparo Ornelas Ramírez, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on August 17th, 2021 in Keller, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on May 11th, 1939 in San Luis Potosí, Mexico to Alfonso Ramirez and Felicitas Ramirez. Amparo dedicated her life to her children, while also working at Lucent Technologies for 27 years. She retired in 2001, spending the rest of her retirement years surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Amparo loved spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and cooking for everyone to enjoy. Amparo was a kind and selfless woman, always putting others needs above her own. She never hesitated to do the right thing and always showered her family and friends in love and affection. Amparo was the Matriarch of the family, always uniting everyone together and making sure they felt loved. She was a once in a lifetime soul, and left an imprint on everyone she interacted with.
Amparo is survived by her five children, Liliana Ornelas-Gonzalez, Sergio Ornelas, Luis Ornelas, Claudia Ornelas-Galvan, and Adriana Ornelas. Her six grandchildren, Adriana Reyna, Gabriela Amparo Ornelas, Luis Alfonso Ornelas, Sofia Galvan, Alexia Galvan, and Sergio Ornelas III.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Sergio Ornelas, her Parents Alfonso and Felícitas Ramirez, and by her Brother Alfonso Ramirez.
Amparo was an amazing Mother and Grandmother who was deeply loved by all, she will be greatly missed and always remembered.
