Amy Williamson

October 1, 1977 — July 25, 2023

Amy was born Oct. 1, 1977 to Allen and Carla Beghtel in Canyon, Texas. Shortly after high school, Amy began to pursue her undergraduate nursing degree. Later, Amy went on to gain her masters degree, becoming an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Amy spent her life serving and loving others. For a number of years, she was a single parent who worked full time while attending college and raising her daughter, Alexis. She also had two stepchildren, Pierce and Alix. Amy’s three children were the most important thing in her life. She loved practicing medicine and ministering to her patients, learning, traveling and, most of all, laughing. Her family, friends and patients knew her fierce love, loyalty, and protection over them.

Amy is survived by her father, Allen Beghtel and wife Suzanne; mother, Carla Rolinc and husband Jeffrey; three children, Alexis Williamson, Pierce Williamson and Alix McDonnell with husband Ryan; brother, Matthew Beghtel and wife Melanie; sister, Jessica Beghtel; three grandchildren, Noah, London and Lauren McDonnell; and two nephews, Gage and Garrett Beghtel.

Amy’s memorial service will be held August 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Cross City Church, 1000 Airport Freeway, Euless, Texas 76039. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Amy Williamson Scholarship Fund at Everloved.com/life-of/amy-williamson/. Proceeds from this Fund will be granted to one or more single parent(s) pursuing their master’s degree in nursing
