Andrew Patrick Magee passed away at home peacefully in his sleep on June 9, 2019. He was 22 years old.
Andrew is survived by his father, Patrick Magee; his mother Becky Anthis (husband, Tim); sister Stephanie Carrillo (husband, Joey); Grandparents Loretta and Don Drummond, Judy Magee-Lanier, and John and Bonnie Magee. Additionally, Andrew is survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Andrew touched so many lives in his short time here and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We, his family, are grateful for the time we were blessed to have had with him. Andrew never knew a stranger. He was the first to make friends with the new kids at school and to be a buddy and protector to those in need.
Andrew loved sports… any and all sports. Andrew excelled in baseball, soccer and golf but there wasn’t a sport that Andrew “met” that he didn’t like.
Andrew was also a WWII history buff and a budding philosopher.
Visitation will be on Friday, June, 21, 2019 beginning at 6:00pm and ending at 8:00pm.
Memorial Services will begin at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019
Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall Street, Grapevine, TX 76051 will host both events.
A reception to celebrate Andrew’s life will be held directly thereafter at a location to be announced after the Services.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored if donations are made, in Andrew’s name, to one of his favorite charities: Best Buddies or Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
