Andrew Terhune passed away on June 20, 2019, in Phoenix, Arizona. He will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, and friend by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His winning smile, beautiful blue eyes, and loving heart made him an unforgettable blessing.
Andrew’s motto was Dum spiro spero which means "While I breathe, I hope" in Latin. This is also the motto on the Dillon family coat of arms of which he was extremely proud.
Andrew was born on March 26, 1988 in Tyler Texas. He has is survived by father, Dan Terhune of Phoenix, AZ, mother, Cathy Terhune of Haltom City, TX, brother, Connor Terhune of Haltom City, TX, half-sister Kimberly Rowland of Fort Mill, SC, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that meant so much to him. Andrew is also survived by his birthmother, Julie Fisher of NM. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Russell and Margaret Terhune of Murray KY, maternal grandparents Joe and Agnes Gay of Palestine TX, and uncles Nick Terhune and Larry Hurbough.
We would also like to recognize two very special, faithful friends of Andrew: Dana Proffer and Jennifer Hager. He loved you like family. Thank you for never forgetting him.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 S. Main, Keller, TX 76248. The funeral service will be held Monday, July 1, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of The Hills Church, 6300 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills, TX 76180. Interment will follow at Bourland Cemetery in Keller. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ’s Haven in Andrew’s name.
