Angelina Rosas

Angelina L. Rosas, a beloved mother, grandmother, and treasured friend, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, at Park Bend, surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 85. A cherished resident of Burleson, Texas, Angelina was originally from the vibrant city of San Antonio.

Born on November 5, 1939, in Devine, Texas, Angelina dedicated her life to her family, nurturing and caring for her eight children with unwavering love and devotion. Alongside her late husband, Santos C. Rosas, she created a warm and lively home filled with laughter, storytelling, and shared memories. Angelina’s passions included cooking, sewing, and tending to her beloved garden, where she found joy in nurturing creation. She was not only a nurturing figure, but also a wellspring of family history, sharing wonderful tales that will now be cherished and recounted fondly by her loved ones.

A woman of deep faith, Angelina was dedicated to her spiritual life and devoted to prayer, often serving as a source of comfort and inspiration for those around her. Her kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of many, creating lasting bonds that will not soon be forgotten.

Angelina is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Ann Rodriguez, her sons Carlos, Tom, Robert, Paul, Jesse Martinez, and Santos Rosas Jr., as well as 22 adoring grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Santos C. Rosas, and her son, Irineo Martinez Jr.

A viewing will be held on January 15, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Lucas Funeral Home, located at 518 S.W. Johnson Ave., Burleson, TX 76028. Friends and family are warmly welcomed to gather in celebration of her life.

The funeral service will take place on January 16, 2025, at 2 PM at the same location. This will be a time for loved ones to honor Angelina, share their memories, and find solace in the love she so profoundly gave throughout her life.

Angelina will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
