Anita Fern Kinkade

HURST -- Anita F. Kinkade went to be with the Lord at a local hospital surrounded by her family and friends on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at the age of 86.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at Bellevue Baptist Church, Hurst. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst.
She was born in Cobb Switch on June 8, 1930, to Welborn F. Waites and Gertrude L. McCauley. Anita, "Nita," "Mom" or "Nana" as she was known, was a loyal and faithful member of Bellevue Baptist Church for over 53 years. She and Roy recently celebrated 64 years of marriage.
She was the light in the room for many and will be sorely missed by all. "Well done thy good and faithful servant . . . Welcome into the joys of thy heart."---Matthew 25:21.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and sister, Patricia Waites.
Survivors: Anita is survived by her husband, Roy Kinkade of Hurst; son, Christopher Kinkade of Arlington; daughter, Kimberly Prax and husband, Eldon, of Haslet; grandchildren, Nicholas Prax of College Station and Noelle Prax of Austin; and many other extended family and friends.
