Ann Marie (McCaffrey) Amalfitano, age 58, of Keller, beloved wife of 26 years of Jerry Amalfitano and devoted mother of Anthony Amalfitano, died peacefully on April 5, 2018, at Emery Lilge Hospice Community House after a valiant struggle with breast cancer.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 16, 1959, she was the youngest of six children of the late Jane and Philip McCaffrey.
Her role as a wife and mother was what inspired her life and gave her strength.
She was a beloved chaperone for the Keller High School Band and a loving and protective crossing guard at Willis Lane Elementary School.
Known for her ease in conversation with even total strangers she possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a fun and caring demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around, will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Amalfitano, son, Anthony Amalfitano; brothers, Philip McCaffrey, Brian McCaffrey, and Mark McCaffrey; and sisters; Margaret (Peggy) Aniol and Loretta McCaffrey and 10 nieces and nephews.
Ann’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service on Saturday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2001 Willis Lane, Keller, Texas, 76248.
