Joy Ann Helstrom-Dumis

HALTOM CITY -- Joy Ann Helstrom-Dumis, 69, went to be with her Father in Heaven July 13, 2016 surrounded by her family that she dearly loved.
Funeral: 11:00 am Saturday in the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: 6-8:00 pm Friday at Lucas Funeral Home.
Joy was born August 17, 1946 in Jacksonville, raised in Waco, and moved to Fort Worth in 1969. She worked at Tandy/Radio Shack for 25 years. In her spare time she loved to decorate cakes so many could enjoy her talent and loved to dance.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and one brother.
Survivors: She was survived by her husband, Jimmy Dumis; sister, Sherry Guerra; brother, Roy Helstrom; daughters, Tammia Taylor, Kim Haile and husband Russell, Rhonda Rogers; sons, Shane Taylor and wife Nancy and Michael Dumis; adopted daughters, Sheryl Garcia and husband Javier and Mandy Dumis; 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins too many to call by name but loved each and every one.
