Anna Holden

Anna DeLatte Holden passed on Saturday evening, July 27, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones in grapevine Texas.

Anna was from Walker Louisiana where she graduated high school! Anna has been a resident of Grapevine Texas since 1974. She married the love of her life, William C. Holden, on April 7th 1975. Together they raised five boys, Lee Haggard of Grapevine, Texas, David Haggard of Beggs, Oklahoma,Robert Haggard of Grapevine, Texas,William Holden III of Bonham, Texas,and John Holden of Catoosa, Oklahoma; also their granddaughter Kaylee Holden of Grapevine, Texas.

Anna was preceded in death by Her parents, John DeLatte and Lessie DeLatte; Brother, Charlie DeLatte; sister, Francis Craig; Husband, William (Bill) Holden Jr. and two sons, Lee Haggard and Robert Haggard.

Anna has 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren whom she loved tremendously. Anna's family would like to thank the staff and Doctors of the third-floor ICU at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine for the outstanding care they provided to our mother!

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Lucas Funeral Home of Grapevine.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 11:30 am at Lucas Funeral Home of Grapevine. Graveside services will be at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery following services.
