KELLER -- Anne Elizabeth Scott Foster passed away peacefully, Friday, June 29, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was 84.        Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 137 East Hill St., Keller. Interment: Bourland Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.        Mrs. Foster was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Key to Homer and Anna Scott. She graduated high school in 1945 at Sparenberg. She then married W.R. "Tun" Foster on Oct. 24, 1947, in Fort Sumner, N.M. Their marriage spanned 60 years until his death in September 2008. Also, preceding her in death were six brothers, H.M., Weldon, Ray, Keith, Ewell and Glen Scott.        Mrs. Foster was an educator for Northwest ISD for over 20 years. She was truly dedicated to each student's growth and development in learning, as well as their personal achievements.        Mrs. Foster enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, like a cup of coffee, a good book and a prayer of thanks before a family meal. But most of all, she enjoyed the company of family and delighted in her grandchildren.        The family would like to send a special thank-you to Dr. DeMartini; nurses, Natalie, Gloria, Michael and the ICU staff of Baylor Medical Center at Grapevine; as well as Clay Buzbee, PA-C of Spine Team Texas, and Dr. Erica Swegler of North Hills Family Practice of Keller.        Her personal strength and will to live never ceased to amaze, even to her passing.        Survivors: Those left to share her memories are son, Grant Foster and wife, Pam; daughter, Staci Jordan and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Holli Foster, Matthew Jordan and Benjamin Jordan; sister, Frances Ward; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
