Annette Sue McGinnis Hicks, 80, died at home September 21, 2018.
Graveside service: 1:15 PM Thursday at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Lucas Funeral Home of Hurst from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday.
Memorials: To honor her memory, donations may be made to the Children’s Cancer Fund or Brookdale Hospice.
Annette was born to Earl and Althea McGinnis on February 26, 1938. She married Larry Truett Hicks on November 13, 1958. They raised two sons Barry and Brian, and she retired from JC Penney’s in Hurst.
Annette was known by many to have a kind and caring heart. She enjoyed cooking and giving to those in need.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry.
Survivors: Sons, Barry and wife Teresa and Brian; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
