Arlene Marie Strand

Arlene Marie Strand, age 71, was born to Mary and Charles Wolcott on July 20, 1952 in Compton, California, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 10, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Arlene's greatest joy was spending every moment with her loving husband of 53 years. She loved playing Pokémon Go and VJ would take her to all her Pokie Stops daily. She had a great love for all animals but especially her furbabies. She enjoyed services and meeting with her life group from the met church.

She had a strong political belief, "Make America Great Again!"

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Wolcott and brother, Charles Wolcott.

Arlene is survived by her loving husband Verlo “V.J.” Strand; children, Rochelle Strand and Verlo Strand; grandchildren, Victoria and Colton Berry, Sydney and Dylan Strand; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Scarlett, Mason and Eleanor Berry; sister, Dianne Ward and brother, Gary Wolcott.

Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main St., Keller, Texas. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, February 23, 2024 at Lucas Funeral Home. Committal Service will follow at Bourland Cemetery, 900 N. Bourland Road, Keller, Texas 76248.
