Arlis “Liz” Loretta Krizenesky
Grapevine- went to be with her Lord on Thursday June 8, 2023.
The Memorial Service will be at St. Marks Catholic Church in Argyle with Father George. It will be held sometime in July.
Liz was born to Loretta and Arther Voigt on November 8, 1934.
On July 1, 1954 she married Lyle Krizenesky and they celebrated 65 years of marriage before his passing in 2019. Together they raised 2 beautiful daughters, Karla and Tonya.
She worked in retail behind the accessory counter at the Bealls Department Store in Grapevine for 20 years. She was the best gift wrapper around, everyone requested her to wrap their gifts.
She was the “Best Mother” anyone could ask for! She loved taking care of her grand dogs and was an excellent pet parent!
Mom’s favorite color was Pink. She always had pink lipstick and pink nail polish. She was always complimented on her makeup and hair, even from complete strangers.
Mom loved her vacations whether it be Florida, Hawaii or the Caribbean but Cruising on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line was her most favorite …she worked her way to “Diamond Plus” status on this last cruise that she just took. Mom loved football especially the Dallas Cowboys. She’d dress up in her favorite team colors and cheer them on.
She enjoyed her stunning home, backyard oasis with beautiful flowers. She loved gardening. She had a green thumb!
Mom also had quite the sock collection, holidays, dogs, dolphins, you name it, she had it! In her free time she enjoyed putting together puzzles, doing word searches and of course watching Judge Judy and Shark Tank.
She is survived by her 2 daughters Karla and her husband Elliot Saltzman, and Tonya, and 3 grand dogs, Bella, Brylee and Buddy.
