Arthur Lee Morris

Arthur Lee Morris, age 78, of Linden, TX and formerly of Euless, TX and Lubbock, TX went home to be with the Lord on September 25th, 2021, at the Life Care Center of Haltom City, TX. Visitation for Arthur will be held at 2pm to 5pm on Friday, October 1st, 2021, at the Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, TX. Eric Watson will officiate burial graveside service at 11am Saturday at the City of Lubbock Cemetery in Lubbock, TX on October 2nd, 2021.
Arthur was born on March 14, 1943, in Lubbock, Texas. The son of Berneace McElfresh and J.W. Morris. He attended Lewisville High School and was a retired construction foreman. Arthur enjoyed fishing, watching his boys play sports and spending time with friends, family and especially his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents Berneace McElfresh, J.W. Morris, brother Bobby Morris, sister Shirley Parnell, brother-in-law Buddy Parnell, and sister Inez Burleson.
He is survived by his daughter Pamela Lawrence of Grand Junction, Colorado, daughter Vicky Holding and son-in-law Wayne Holding of Grand Junction, Colorado, son Bradley Morris and daughter-in-law Rebecca Morris of Fort Worth, Texas, son Craig Morris and daughter-in-law Jamie Morris of Haslet Texas, his sisters Jeanie Smith of Linden, Texas and Marian Dressler of Vernon BC, Canada and brother-in-law Les Burleson of Linden, Texas. Arthur was blessed with an abundance of grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved dearly.
