Ashlynn Brianne Schmid

It is with great sadness that the family of Ashlynn Brianne Schmid announces her passing. Ashlynn was born July 3, 2002 in Fort Worth to Brian Schmid and Katy Laux and left us on May 12, 2020.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home with a visitation an hour prior from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. The Service will be livestreamed by following this link: https://video.ibm.com/channel/2muQ8JfMPkJ .
Ashlynn was going to graduate high school this year with a bright future ahead of her. She had a creative soul with a passion for art, family and close friends. She had a funky style all her own and was not afraid to be different from her peers. Ashlynn encouraged others to be themselves and enjoyed being with her friends and helping them in any way she could. She carried a grocery store of snacks in her backpack so Laney and her friends were never hungry at school.
Survivors: father, Brian Schmid and wife, Diana; mother, Katy Laux; sister, DeLaney Schmid; brother, Luke Schmid; grandparents, Charlie and Kathy Schmid, Larry and Peg Laux, Jim and Meredith Tracy and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who love her dearly and will miss her greatly.
