Athena Lanell Logan

The memorial Service for Athena LaNell Logan, 62, of Keller, Texas will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 10, 2021 at Center Point Church, 7804 Mid Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills, Texas 76180. Athena was born on September 3, 1958 to Ann and Crawford Maddux in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed away on May 6, 2021 in Colleyville, Texas after a brave battle with cancer. Athena is preceded in death by her grandparents, father Crawford, aunts Connie Maddux, Martha Reese, and Merlene Westenhover, and nephew Brett Maddux. She touched many people during her life and leaves behind her mother Ann; brother Jeff and his wife Tricia; nephews Bryan and Blake Maddux; brother Corey and his wife Laurie; niece Mallory Maddux; three uncles, Joe Maddux and his wife Scherry, Jimmy Maddux, and Don Reese; and numerous other loving family, friends, and neighbors.

Athena was a hard-working Kroger deli employee and restaurant manager. Her kind and generous nature was obvious to all who met her, including her customers who would often wait in line longer in order to speak with her. Devoted and fiercely loyal, she put family first.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, May 9, 2021 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, Texas 76053. She will be buried at Ballew Springs Cemetery on Little Reba Road in Weatherford on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation in Athena’s honor be made to the American Cancer Society.
