Aubrey Lee (Babe) Ford, Jr. passed away May 11, 2021. He was born June 5, 1925, to Aubrey Lee and Ollie Allison Ford in Temple, Texas. Aubrey graduated from Academy-Little River High School and attended Trinity University in San Antonio. He was the youngest of one sister and two brothers. Aubrey and his brothers all served in the military with Aubrey serving his country in The Army Air Corp.
Service: The family will hold a private interment service at Little River-Wilson Valley Cemetery in Temple at a later date.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers those who wish may donate to the Humane Society of North Texas, 1840 E. Lancaster, Fort Worth, TX 76103 or a charity of choice.
Aubrey was employed by the U.S Post Office, the Fort Worth General Depot, the U.S. Weather Bureau and Pulliam Pools. Though Aubrey never married, he loved his family and was a kind, quiet, productive and independent person.
Aubrey was predeceased by his parents, his sister Melba Ford Panek and his brothers Robert Edsel Ford and Curtis Vernie Ford. The family would like to thank the employees of Christian Care Communities Lakewood for their care of Aubrey in the last years of his life.
Survivors: Aubrey was survived by his three nieces, Linda Panek Smith, Sharon Ford Currans and Cheryl Elaine Panek and three nephews, Larry Kenneth Panek, Robert Wade Ford and Kevin Ford Panek.
