On the morning of January 6, 2023, the Lord received one of his very special children, Austin Joseph Schwarz, back home. Certainly not an angel, Austin nonetheless brought light and humor to anyone he met, individually or in a group. His intelligence and wit brought smiles and laughter to all. He was always caring and enjoyed being an advocate for fairness in all things that he saw and participated in. Austin worked hard, played hard and cared hard, for all. His heart was especially focused on animals, large, small, with and without legs! And he loved his fast, fancy cars.
He was born in Verdugo Hills California, and lived the last 24 years in Grapevine, Texas. He was self-taught and learned the technical requirements required to be a network engineer, supporting T-Mobile’s nationwide cell network. And, yet, choosing his own way, he worked on third shift. He enjoyed his job and being left alone at night to prosper and be successful. Austin was, in every sense of the word, one-of-a-kind.
It's impossible to explain Austin in mere words. Just find and ask one of his friends, a family member, or a neighbor. Each will have their own special memory of a unique interaction with Austin. He always made people laugh, smile and happy. That was his talent and his heart. As we always told him, he had the biggest mind, matched only by his heart and caring for others.
Gratefully he will live on in the many happy memories of his parents, Diane and Mike, his brother Dylan and wife Nikki, his partner Zane, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandfather and friends. Austin’s light shone bright wherever he was, illuminating the many people he touched. We were all blessed to have him in our lives and cannot wait to meet him again. Peace and love. AMDG.
