Barbara Bristow

Barbara Bristow, 91, of Burleson, Texas, went to meet her Savior and be reunited with her beloved husband Rix Bristow on January 22, 2025. Born to Hurley and Ethel Young on September 21, 1933, in Fort Worth, Texas, Barbara grew up with strong values and a loving spirit.

Barbara went to Polytechnic High School, Barbara carried her upbringing and principles into a life filled with faith, love, and kindness. She was a devout Christian and a long-time member of Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson, where she found joy in worship, love and fellowship.

Barbara will be remembered for her unwavering faith, compassionate heart, and dedication to her family and church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hurley and Ethel Young, and her devoted husband Rix Bristow. She leaves behind cherished memories with her family, friends, and all who knew her. She is survived by Rick Bristow and his wife Stacy Bristow, Lee Bristow, Marla and Rod Webber, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at Boulevard Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 11:00AM with a visitation being held one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Community Healthcare of Texas in Burleson.
