Barbara C. Gaskill

Decatur- Barbara Hilliard Gaskill, a long-time resident of Grapevine area, died on Tuesday July 25th of 2017, peacefully at home. Born in 1940 in Hebron, Tx, Barbara worked at Texas Instruments for 35 yrs. until her retirement. She loved family, music, good food, socializing, sewing and canning, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.

Preceded in death by her husband Wilburn and a son Earnest. She is survived by her children Catherine Rasberry of Decatur, Tx., Tammy Carver of Elmo, Tx., Pam Rowell of Mannford, Okla., Buddy Gaskill of Grapevine, Tx., and Ichabod Christian of Roanoke, Tx., several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a large extended family all of whom live in various areas of Texas, and who brought great joy to her later years. The Lucas Funeral Home, Grapevine, Tx., has been entrusted with the arrangements.
